Important Notes

To ensure successful sales campaigns, keep the following points in mind:

Sync Time

For stores with tens of thousands of products, price updates run as background jobs. While the system is fast, please allow some time for the changes to propagate through Shopify’s APIs. We recommend scheduling sales at least 15-30 minutes in advance for massive catalogs.


Third-Party Apps

Because Price Rules modifies the Compare-at-Price, ensure other apps you use for badges or labels are configured to read this field to display “On Sale” indicators correctly.
